Hakkapeliitat polttivat Böömiä maan tasalle 1648. Nyt muutama vuosisata myöhemmin taistelu jatkuu toivottavasti hieman rauhanomaisemmin, kun tšekkiläiset ystävämme järjestävät pääkaupungissaan turnauksen.

Sharpen your skills, rally your forces, and come fight for the treasure we’ve prepared for you. Who will raise the champion’s chalice? Will it be a horde of goblins, a demon dragged from the grave, or maybe some druid from the deep woods? Will you be the one — or will you end up cheering from the sidelines, stein of fine Czech beer in hand?
As every Highlander player knows: there can be only one.

Let me invite you to the first international MTG highlander tournament in Czech republic for many years. Please register via email mikivesely@gmail.com. Maximum capacity will be 64 players and the site will be added later depending on weather conditions and number of participants. Don’t worry, you will know everything in time. Entry fee is 20€ and 5 proxies allowed.

Tällä hetkellä parhaan tiedon mukaan yksi mahdollinen turnauspaikka olisi Energy Pub, mutta paikkatieto tosiaan tarkentuu lähempänä. Prahan keskusta-alueella kuitenkin.
Suomesta tiedän matkan jo varanneen ainakin 2 henkilöä, joiden lisäksi 2 “aika varmaa” ja muutama alustavasti kiinnostunut. Tätäkin reissua varten paras koordinointialusta on MtgSuomen Discord-serveri.
What’s the damage?
Varailin itse lennot Helsingistä Prahaan koko viikonlopulle, ja lentojen hinnaksi tuli noin 255 euroa. Hotellien hinta luonnollisesti heittelee oman mukavuudenhalun mukaisesti, ja Prahassa on runsaasti tarjontaa aina noin 50 EUR/yö hostelleista useiden satasten ratkaisuihin. Omalle kermaperseelleni Hotel Unitas tarjosi huokeimman huoneensa 135 euron hintaan per yö, eli reissun kokonaiskustannukset ovat logistiikan ja majoituksen osalta noin 550 euroa. Ei halpaa hupia, mutta sniiduilijat selviävät halvemmalla.
